Dear colleagues of the health team: The motto of the 22 Argentine Congress of Intensive Care is "A round conference." This is because we will try to integrate the various aspects of our daily work in the Unit in the scientific framework of conferences and round tables. There is a patient in our business only "doctor", "the nurse", "of the physical therapist" or "biochemical", we all work together to the benefit of our patients. Our specialty has the distinction of being horizontal, ie through the various specialties and interact with them, generating subspecialties that are reflected in the various committees of the SATI. Many of its members are distinguished scholars and renowned speakers in the world and not always well used by ourselves. That's why this year we want to give as much space as possible within the scientific program. In turn we will have a select group of distinguished foreign guests, which will further enrich our experience. In conjunction with this conference will be held the IV Pan American and Iberian Congress of Nursing FEPIMCTI, an event that further discredits us and allow us to host professionals from across the region, such as speakers and attendees. We chose the city of Rosario for its strategic location, friendly people and its culture and tourism, this particular year which marks the bicentennial of the creation of the flag. The convention center City Center offers a new space facilities and cutting edge technology and significant benefits for participants in gastronomy and entertainment. It also gives us the opportunity to create spaces for community activities and for the intensivist and his family, so often postponed. We invite especially the opening conference "Who should be in charge of intensive care?" Will be presented by Professor Jean Louis Vincent, reflecting an essential problem for the whole team. Finally, we recommend scheduling the closing party, where in addition to reconnect with our friends and all the years we have a memorable event.
